Projects' walking tours are a great way to learn about Colonial history
by touring Maryland's best preserved 18th century port. During these
hour long tours, students and teachers are guided through the streets
and stories of Colonial Chestertown, where the past is recreated through
lively anecdotes about Colonial social customs, slavery, clothing,
architecture, medicine, and entertainment. The tour finishes at the 1734
White Swan Tavern with 18th century games on the garden lawn.
